Choreographers are finalizing the six different Dance Challenge choreographies. 100 teachers around Finland will learn the dances in training sessions on 14 and 21 August 2016 in Kuopio and Helsinki.
Teachers are ready to spread the Dance Challenge and the joy of dance to all Finns and people living in Finland during Finland’s centennial in 2017. Teacher may for example come to your home, school, work-place or hobby community. Thanks to the wide national teacher network you may enjoy the dance tuition anywhere in Finland.
You will be able to book your class already in autumn 2016, more information coming soon! The tuition can include for example a discussion of dance and dancing as a hobby, tips on caring for your body, and filming of the Dance Challenge choreography.
No prior experience is required to learn the dances, and they will be suitable for people of all ages and physical abilities. The Dancing Finland campaign and the Dance Challenge will be launched on 6 January 2017.
